The TEFNUT model is a men‘s watch that reflects a decidedly reduced form vocabulary and a straightforward development process. Its personality eliminates all doubt that horological class is also a question of appearance. Exquisitely cambered gold hour markers, convex numerals at the 6 and 12 o‘clock positions, two manually crafted hands conceived explicitly for this watch family, and a slender gold case are defining elements of this timepiece.
A totally reimagined mechanical heart of similarly subtle elegance beats inside the strikingly handsome case. The remarkably thin movement exhibits all of the typical Grossmann hallmarks, yet is absolutely unique in its linear-symmetric architecture. This is immediately visible with a glance at the modified cut of the 3/5 plate.
The TEFNUT Pure model family is characterised by a slender silhouette and a sleek, beautiful face. Given the low profile of the calibre 202.0 movement, the height of the stainless steel case was reduced as well. On the wrist, the watch affords a comfortable fit with its hand-stitched alligator leather strap. The typical circumferential groove and the angled flutes make the crown easier to turn.
Seamlessly fitted to the case on the front and back sides, the sapphire-crystal glass and display back have an antireflective coating on the inside. The see-through back exposes beautiful movement details of the Pure Classic Finish.
In the steel version, Grossmann emphasises discreetly casual looks. The design of the TEFNUT Pure was coordinated with the case colour by introducing subtle changes. The surfaces of the markers and numerals are rhodiumed, making them hard and durably shiny. With a ground flange and a polished chamfer on the inner edge, the circumferential display is prominently raised against the lower portion of the dial.
The hands with the characteristic nodal design are manually crafted from stainless steel and mirror-polished to match the markers and numerals.
The lucid shape and the finesse of the hands of the TEFNUT are truly impressive. They are manually crafted from steel or stainless steel in numerous steps.
A node that tapers toward the eye of the hand and narrows to a fine point at the tip characterises the shape that was developed especially for the TEFNUT. It assures that the time is always accurately readable.
